Reclaiming Connections Workshop
We are honoured to invite you to express your interest in attending the Reclaiming Connections online workshop in 2026. We welcome Indigenous wellness supporters, including counsellors, mental health workers, and others, to join us on those dates. Attendance at the Reclaiming Connections workshop and mentorship is provided without cost to mental wellness workers who serve government-funded agencies. Limited seats are available to Indigenous wellness workers in private practice upon application.

The full Reclaiming Connections workshop will be limited to a small number of participants, and priority will be given to Indigenous wellness workers. Non-Indigenous practitioners with established partnerships with Indigenous communities and extensive experience providing culturally safe, trauma-informed, and strength-focused support are also invited to express their interest in joining us, with priority given to those with prior Connect Program training. Completion of the workshop will be followed by mentorship and support in program delivery.
Those who are unable to attend the upcoming training in April 2026 but are interested in future workshops are invited to express an interest in receiving information on future workshop updates and to register on our waitlist.

Reclaiming Connections is a 10-week program for caregivers of Indigenous youth (ages 8-18).

The Reclaiming Connections facilitator workshop is suitable for Indigenous and non-Indigenous wellness workers who support Indigenous families and youth and are interested in delivering Reclaiming Connections in their community.

Step 1: Participate in the full Reclaiming Connections workshop.
Step 2: Deliver a group with close mentorship and support from the Connect team.
Facilitators who successfully deliver the Reclaiming Connections program will receive a certificate from their mentor(s) to run the group.
Step 3: After certification, certified facilitators can proceed to run Reclaiming Connections groups with other certified Reclaiming Connections facilitators without mentorship. However, the Reclaiming Connections program reserves the right to request for recertification in special circumstances to ensure program fidelity.

If you wish to gain an overview of the Reclaiming Connections program, you can sign up for the “Introduction to Reclaiming Connections Workshop”. This would allow you to participate as an observer in the first two days of the online workshop.
This introductory session provides an in-depth review of the foundations of the Reclaiming Connections program, its structure, as well as the discussion of culture, connection, and ways of being. You will also observe segments of the first four Reclaiming Connections sessions on the second day.
If you wish to become a program facilitator after attending the “Introduction to Reclaiming Connections Workshop”, you would still need to complete the full Reclaiming Connections workshop and certification. Completion of the full Reclaiming Connections workshop is required for the purpose of Reclaiming Connections training and certification.

The full Reclaiming Connections workshop includes 6 half-days from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM Pacific time. Completion of the workshop will be followed by mentorship and support in program delivery.

Register for the Introduction to Reclaiming Connections Workshop
You can participate in a shorter introduction to Reclaiming Connections on the first two mornings as an observer. This introductory session provides an in-depth review of the foundations of the Reclaiming Connections program, its structure, as well as the discussion of culture, connection, and ways of being. You will also observe segments of the first four Reclaiming Connections sessions on the second day.
This introductory session is ideal for community-based knowledge holders and leaders interested in understanding how Reclaiming Connections might serve their community. It does not serve to prepare wellness workers for the full program delivery.
