Connect in Japan
Connect日本版は、2025年春に初めてのパイロットグループ、2026年にセカンドグループ（オンライン併用のe-Connect）を実施し、日本の文化に合わせたプログラムとして改良を進めています。
これまでの参加者によるフィードバックでは、グループでの安心感や共感、毎週のミニレクチャーや架空ロールプレイを通して振り返る実践的な視点、子どもや家族についての親としての気づき、世代の違いを束ねながらの自己理解、などを深められたようです。
『Connect（コネクト）での学びのおかげで、夏休み以降、だいぶ家庭内が落ち着いているような気がします。もちろん日ごとの調子はマチマチですが、中学生の息子だけでなく、早めに反抗期が来た小学生の娘にも、だいぶゆったりした態勢で向き合えています。コミュニケーションがいつでも取れる関係を保つのは、地道で大変な事だけれど、それが本当に大切なのだと実感します。Connectグループプログラムが広まることを心からお祈りしています』

(English Translation)
Connect in Japan launched its first pilot group in spring 2025 and a second group, including the online eConnect format, in 2026. We have been continuously adapting and improving the program to make it a better fit for Japanese cultural context.
Based on feedback from past participants, it appears that the program has helped them deepen their sense of security and empathy within the group; gain practical insights through weekly mini-talks and simulated role-playing exercises; gain new perspectives as parents regarding their children and families; and develop a better understanding of their own experiences across generations.
“Thanks to what I learned through Connect, things at home have felt a lot calmer since the summer break. Of course, we still have our ups and downs, but I feel like I can deal with both my junior-high son and my elementary school-aged daughter—who hit her rebellious stage a bit early—with a lot more ease and patience. Keeping a relationship where we can always talk openly takes steady effort, and it’s not always easy, but I’m really realizing how important it is. Thanks again for everything. I truly hope the Connect Group Program continues to spread.”
