Reaching Diverse and Unserved Youth and Families Through an Attachment & Trauma-Focused Program for Carers & Front-Line Staff: Current Developments in Connect.

Sharing knowledge, experiences, and developments in attachment- and trauma-focused programming for caregivers and frontline professionals.

In 2024, the Connect team hosted a knowledge exchange event titled "Reaching Diverse and Unserved Youth and Families Through an Attachment & Trauma-Focused Program for Carers & Front-Line Staff: Current Developments in Connect."

The event brought together practitioners, researchers, and collaborators involved in Connect and its various projects and adaptations to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and discuss ongoing developments in supporting diverse youth and families.

Through presentations and collaborative discussions, participants had the opportunity to learn about current initiatives, share insights from their work with families and communities, and explore opportunities to strengthen the accessibility, relevance, and implementation of attachment- and trauma-focused programming.

The event reflected Connect's ongoing commitment to fostering collaboration between research and practice, recognizing the knowledge and experiences of community partners and practitioners, and supporting the continued development of programs that respond to the diverse needs of youth and families.
